MERAS is een acroniem en staat voor:
Maatwerk en Expertise in Revalidatie, Arbeid en Sport

Daarmee wordt aangegeven wat MERAS Fysiotherapie wil:
- Het verlenen van deskundige zorg op het gebied van bewegen voor cliënten die moeten revalideren na of herstellen van een blessure of operatie. Hierbij staat het zo goed mogelijk weer kunnen deelnemen aan het dagelijks leven centraal. Echter, ook mensen met een blijvende fysieke beperking kunnen bij MERAS Fysiotherapie terecht voor het optimaal behouden van hun mogelijkheden.
- Het samen met de cliënt maken van een plan op maat om de individuele doelstellingen van de cliënt te realiseren. De doelstellingen kunnen gerelateerd zijn aan klachten, maar ook aan het voorkomen van klachten, bijvoorbeeld door preventieve training in een medische fitnessgroep.
- Het begeleiden en behandelen van cliënten zodat deelnemen aan arbeid en sport voor hen mogelijk wordt of blijft.
